FUTURE-PROOFED UPGRADE PATH

• For existing Vertex Q Series customers interested in migrating to Vertex O Series or Vertex Cloud.
• Where no native integration to Vertex O Series or Vertex Cloud exists for the customer's host system(s).
• For Vertex Q Series customers unable to replace, upgrade or modify their host system(s).
• For customers on Extended Support Plans because they cannot upgrade their version of Vertex Q Series.
• For new customers with host systems that only support Vertex Q Series integrations.

PERFORMANCE ON PAR WITH NATIVE INTEGRATIONS

• Q2O performs on par with native integrations to VertexO Series and Vertex Cloud.
• Network / cloud-based solutions are inherently slower than tightly coupled solutions.
• If performance is critical, consider Vertex O Series on-premises, co-located with the host system.

FUNCTIONALITY GAIN

• Q2O matches the Vertex Q Series API to the Vertex O Series and Vertex Cloud APIs.
• Customers gain a new tax engine and full Vertex O Series / Vertex Cloud User Interface functionality.
• Host system upgrades and modifications are not required.
• Q2O can be customized to support business process improvement projects.

SHORT PROJECT DURATION

• Engagements typically last two to six weeks for "lift & shift" implementations, which include replacing the tax engine and migrating the Tax Decision Maker configuration.
• KMMH Systems is available for any additional customization and process improvements customers may request.

EXPERT SUPPORT

• Customer support is provided by KMMH Systems.
• Maintenance updates to support new versions of O Series and Vertex Cloud are included in the annual renewal fee.

• Q2O is compiled for a given customer-specific platform. Please provide the exact version of the operating system, host system, and Vertex Q Series to be replaced.
• Q2O is based on a patented technology. Please let us know of any 3rd party Q2O-like connectors.
