Technical Deliverables


Security of data flows across the Internet, performance requirements, data logging requirements, application servers requirements, database servers requirements, high availability requirements, disaster recovery requirements, integrations requirements, permission and access requirements. The tasks may include installation of the tax automation engine, customization, and installation of integrations appropriate for the given ERP system and tax software combination, configuring communication between ERP and the tax automation software, systems monitoring, and log files review.


Functional Deliverables


Business requirements review, gap analysis, quality of address records concerning proper identification of applicable taxing jurisdictions, product and services categorization pertinent to taxability mapping, customer exemption certificates management relevant to driving and defending exempt transactions, merchandise returns and credit memos processing, reporting and reconciliation requirements, compliance and returns filing processes, business flow review as it pertains to sourcing transactions from external systems, master data review as it pertains to sourcing elements of a transaction used in taxability decision making, training plan, test plan, open orders/invoices transition plan, go-live plan, roll-back plan, support plan, and upgrades plan.
